• continue effective usage of metrics & audits in schools
• continue to seek recycling improvements in schools
• explore organic composting options (ex. Wilmington Organic Recycling Center – Peninsula Compost Inc.)
• develop a helpful mechanism to “measure” the qualitative changes in students (“journal” idea)
• support & engage in county-wide efforts regarding renewable energy options for schools (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.)
• include an energy supplier to discuss electricity at the fall meeting.

Goals For 2011-2012 School Year

• Continue to use metrics and audits to measure the impacts of changes in our resources usage in our schools.
• do further investigations into recycling opportunities in our county
• support & engage in county-wide efforts regarding renewable energy options for schools (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.)
• identify local resources available for supplementing cross curricular environmental education in our classrooms
